Lianfeng Mountain is located in the west of Beidaihe shore. It is also called Lianpeng Mountain for its beautiful peaks which are like seedpod of the lotus. It is divided into east Lianfeng Mountain and west Lianfeng Mountain while the highest peak is east Lianfeng Mountain. In 1979, while Beidaihe was open to public, Lianfeng Mountain was built to Lianfeng Mountain Park in today’s appearance. Qinhuangdao is an ideal summer resort with cool summer. The time for traveling the other spots in Qinhuangdao is from June to August. The best time for seeing the birds is the migrating season of migrants in spring and autumn.
